Hello Box Lacrosse Families,

The box lacrosse season is quickly approaching.  I hope all our players are looking forward to Canada’s official national summer sport!  For those of you who don't know me, my name is Lori Harder and I am the VP of House League for Thunder Lacrosse.  I can be reached at house.league.thunder@gmail.com.


BRING A FRIEND NIGHT – Wednesday, April 19th

Thunder Lacrosse is excited to invite all players to “bring a friend(s) night” at the Markham Village Arena.  Coaches and trainers will be running a skills session for players and their friends to learn and practice lacrosse skills for the upcoming season.

Equipment Required for April 19th

·         Helmet with cage (hockey or lacrosse)

·         Hockey or lacrosse gloves

·         Lacrosse stick ** The Association will have extra sticks available for friends to borrow for the evening.  


Paperweight 2011/2012 6pm Markham Village
Tyke 2009/2010 6pm Markham Village
Novice 2007/2008 7pm Markham Village
Peewee 2005/2006 8pm Markham Village
Bantam 2003/2004 8pm Markham Village


FIRST DAY OF HOUSE LEAGUE – Monday, April 24 or Wednesday, April 26th

Paperweight 2011/2012 Wed April 26 6pm Markham Village
Tyke 2009/2010 Wed April 26 6pm Markham Village
Novice 2007/2008 Mon April 24 8pm Markham Village
Peewee 2005/2006 Mon April 24 7pm Markham Village
Bantam 2003/2004 Mon April 24 6pm Markham Village

PEANUT (2013/2014) will begin in MAY, a seperate note will be sent about this division. **Additional schedule details (times/venue) and team information will be sent by email soon.



Thunder Lacrosse is a volunteer run organization.  We are always looking for parents who will volunteer their time as a coach or support staff for picture day and day of champions.   We are in need of coaches (team leaders and team bench door managers) for all age divisions. NO EXPERIENCE IN LACROSSE IS NECESSARY.  Thunder Lacrosse will be hosting a coach training session to support our volunteers.  If you are able to help the association as a volunteer, please contact me at house.league.thunder@gmail.com.
